2017

Voices upon the Tradewinds Meet the storytellers of the Asian Pacific Diaspora,  presented at UMKC Grant Hall.

The Coterie Theatre's 2016-'17 season includes Hana's Suitcase,  produced in partnership with Tradewind Arts.

Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them is presented at UMKC Grant Hall.

2016

Actor/Playwright Eric Sharp joins us from Minneapolis to direct

a staged reading of his play Middle Brother.

A sold-out reading of Nandita Shenoy's play Washer/Dryer

is presented at the Fishtank Theater.

Playwright Lauren Yee joins us from New York City for a week of writing workshops, panel discussions, and workshopping a play-in-progress.

2015

PAAAKC rebrands and Tradewind Arts is born.

2012

A 25th-anniversary reading of Velina Hasu Houston's seminal

play Tea is presented at the Unicorn Theatre with an all-APA cast.

2014

Pan-Asian American Artists of Kansas City is formed

to promote visibility, representation, and opportunity for

APA artists.
